5 More Tips and Tricks + a video That Have Made Me a Better Disc Golfer

  1. Change your grips when you change the disc you're throwing
    1. Fan grip for putting
    2. Pinch grip for throwing putters and some mid-range discs
    3. Fan grip for throwing mid-range discs
    4. Modified fan / power grip for fairway drivers
    5. Power grip for throwing wide-rim control and distance drivers
  2. Don't be afraid to experiment with and try new grips!

  3. Adjust your run-up based on the intended direction of your release / throw
    1. Left to right movement on the tee = hyzer shot
    2. Straight movement on the tee = straight shot
    3. Right to left movement on the tee = anhyzer shot
  4. Pull through
    1. Keep your head down on the pull-through / release until your left shoulder approaches your head while rotating
  5. Even if you've been playing for a while, don't be afraid to "start over" with aspects of your form, game, putting, etc... Sometimes, starting over helps resolve some long outstanding struggles you may have with your game
